Traveling to Cities of Music 

 

Travel offers inspiring experiences and has the power to broaden our minds. 

 

Of course, people travel for many different reasons. 

 

For example, they may travel to appreciate the beauty of nature or to enjoy local delicacies. 

 

Another reason people travel is to immerse themselves in music from various parts of the world. 

 

Here are three cities where the musical culture and history draw visitors from around the globe.

 

 

 

Salzburg, Austria

 

Salzburg is renowned as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. 

 

The Hagenauer House, where Mozart was born, has been a museum since 1880. 

 

Here, visitors can see portraits and letters that belonged to Mozart's family, 

 

early editions of his music, and even some of the instruments that he played! 

 

Furthermore, Mozart Week takes place in Salzburg every year in January.

 

 It features unparalleled opera performances, orchestral concerts, recitals by talented soloists, and more.
